ABOUT THE AUTHOR Geeta Singh, MSPT is the owner of Integrated Physical Therapy in Laguna Beach, CA. She earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1990. She is passionate about helping people reduce their risk of obesity and chronic pain issues by taking short exercise breaks throughout the day. Geeta, her friends, and her patients all have one thing in common: they lead hectic lives with little time for a long workout. To that end, Geeta recently devised a series of corrective exercises that can be done throughout the day. Each of her routines takes under five minutes, with some exercises taking only a minute to complete. Geeta firmly believes that people can improve their overall health and wellbeing by taking short exercise breaks throughout their busy day.
